Resources from Linda:

Thank you again for attending Thursday, I had the best time with all of you. As promised, here are resources to help you jump into to discovering values, helping your team connect to values, or simply exploring more of what we discussed.

Attachments:

-Attached: Behaviors List – this helps you sort out what BEHAVIORS demonstrate a value. Remember, we want to be clear on what the value is, how we define that value, what behaviors demonstrate that value (and what behaviors tell us we’re compromising our values or not honoring them!)
Behaviors List and Examples.pdf

-Attached: Operationalizing Values – an example of how the Brené Brown Education and Research team were able to identify the behaviors that uphold the organizational values of Be Brave, Serve the Work, Take Good Care. When you connect your values to the organization, it is your chance to say, “This is how I show UP for our vision and mission!” and be proud of your strengths, focus, values, and contributions.

-Example of Operationalized Team Values.pdf

-Attached: A list of values but not exhaustive. Remember, your values might be a word, or a phrase. A dear friend of mine has the value of “Being The Light” and another uses “Making a Difference”.
